How to Drop a Distance Education Course

Undergraduate Students:

Students should consult an Academic Advisor or other appropriate UT Arlington staff member to discuss the implications of their actions before dropping a class. Refer to Academic Regulations in the UT Arlington Undergraduate Catalog. Undergraduate Drops/Adds are handled through the individual departments.

Graduate Students:

Students who wish to change their schedule must first consult with their Graduate Advisor. Refer to General Graduate School Regulations and Information in the Graduate Catalog.

All Students Include the Following Information:

E-Mail or fax (817.272.3223 - Attn: Jeraldine Washington) with the request to drop, accompanied by your name and Student ID number, course number and section, signature, and a copy of your driver’s license or UT Arlington Student ID card.

UT TeleCampus Students:

UT TeleCampus students who wish to drop a class should go here. Be sure to follow up with a phone call or email after 24 hours to confirm that your request has been processed.
