Session: “Online Synchronous Meeting Tools”This workshop focuses on tools used to meet and communicate with students synchronously online. The purpose of the workshop is to introduce the participants to each tool and have them actually utilize these tools in a live setting. This session includes:

Session: “Maximizing MavSpace (blogging and podcasting)”Office of Information Technology and the Center for Distance Education has joined to bring you tools that can help manage your blogs and podcasts. This 2-hour course is designed for users who wish to gain an understanding of how MavSpace can be used with your Blogs and Podcasts. MavSpace is a web-based service that allows users to store and share files via the Internet. The utility provides users with a personal, easy to use interface to upload, store, and share files with other people both inside and outside UT Arlington. The primary focus will be on uploading files and the hows and whys of file sharing. In the hands on portion of the course, we will practice uploading a file and then sharing that file.

Camtasia integrates with PowerPoint so that it is easy to record your PowerPoint as well as audio and video.
